 Economics Study Center organized the very first session of the event series "Building Bridge" where the current and ex-students of the department share their views and ideas on academics, research journals and many more. It is a session of "student to student knowledge" sharing. In this series, ESC will organize study circles, presentation sessions on prospects of economics and learning sessions from any popular research article or current economic issue.
The first session was held on "Higher Studies Abroad: Procedures and Prospects". The admission requirements, writing techniques of SOP and the overall procedures were discussed in this 1 hour session on 30th March, 2016 at Room No. 4045 of Arts Building. Speakers were two PhD candidates from our alumni. Javed Hossain who is a lecturer of Institute of Health Economics, University of Dhaka and A H Sohel, a research associate at IPSS shared their ideas and experiences of applying to PhD program.
