Speak it out LOUD!

Economics Study Center (ESC) is proud to announce the successful completion of the first edition of the presentation competition- 'SPEAKONOMICS'! 

This time the competition was intra-batch - 5 teams from 94th batch, that is 15 first year undergraduate students took part in this invigorating battle of minds to display their economics and presentation skills. The theme of the competition was- "Regional Integration in South Asia". 

The teams came up with wonderful names- The Free Marketeers, The Apprentice, The Optimized Brain, Trio 94 and The Econoclast!

After two rounds of brilliant and enlightening presentations team 'The Optimized Brain' comprised of Tamanna Tabassum, Juhair Shams Galib and Jannatul Ferdous Dola took the championship crests and the bragging rights. 

It was a wonderful performance from the other four teams who lost out marginally. We were overwhelmed by the amazing performances. The final of the best three teams was graced by the presence of our beloved teachers Professor Dr. M M Akash, the honorable moderator of ESC and Amzad Hossain, lecturer of the Department of Economics who also judged the final round. 

We are delighted to have received such a response from the department and we look forward to bring more editions of SPEAKONOMICS and other programs soon!
