University students often remain in a perpetual confusion with their higher education plans. They remain indecisive about going abroad, with the country of choice or in choosing the programs to pursue. Ever year millions of undergraduates and graduates immigrate to USA from Bangladesh for graduate and post graduate studies, but the road to such programs are usually vague. To clear the confusions and simplify the procedures ‘Economics Study Center (ESC)’ and ‘Economic Carrier Alliance (ECA)’ in association with EducationUSA arranged a seminar titled “Seminar on Basic Application Requirements for US Universities" on 15th March, 2018.EducationUSA is a US Department of State international Student advising center that supports international student through information about the opportunities available at the postsecondary institutions in USA. The speaker of the seminar Ruhul Amin, outreach coordinator of EducationUSA, spoke about the overall postgraduate scenario of the universities in USA. The program attended by a mass of curious students, revolved around the application procedures including the methods that can be used to find suitable universities for one-self and the required aptitude tests and their scores. The speaker also presented some recent details of students who made it to the US universities, having varying academic and non-curricular performances. The presentation was followed by a quick Question/Answer session and a quiz session, where the winners were awarded with tokens from the center.
