LDC Graduation and financing SDGs

On 24th of January,2018 Economics Study Center(ESC) successfully conducted a session titled as ‘LDC Graduation and financing SDGs’. The speaker of the event was Dr.Mohammad Parvez Imdad, visiting professor of University of The Philippines and Senior consultant for ADB and ASEAN. Prof.Dr.Nazma begum,Chairman Department of Economics,University of Dhaka and Prof Dr.M.M Akash,Moderator,Economics Study Center was also present during the session. The discussion revolved around the expected benefits and drawbacks to Bangladesh and the challenges that might be faced by the country upon LDC graduation.There was also a comprehensive briefing made on the funding of SDGS .The talk was followed by a Question/Answer session with the active participation of the Attendees.
