A Commonwealth Scholar at the National University of Singapore (NUS), his primary research area lies in Innovation and Application of Machine Learning in Business Strategy. In addition to these roles, he is an analytics adviser of Intelligent Machines Limited (a company working with machine learning and big data) and Upskill (a professional training and certification platform). Mr Alam received his MSc degree in Operations and Risk Management from the University of Manchester and completed his undergraduate studies from IBA, Dhaka University. His consulting and work areas of focus are data-driven decision–making, applying machine learning in businesses, and helping companies be strategically data-driven, strategic risk management and simulations.
