Economics Study Center (ESC), University of Dhaka started to organize "Learning to Excel"- a series of workshops for students aimed at professional skill development.
Who not knows, for a successful career, writing, reading and software skills should be strengthened and improving participants' abilities in these areas will be the focus of this initiative.
The 1st Phase of the series was held on Professional Microsoft Excel Training on April 16th, 2016! And this was conducted by- Abu Shams Mahmood Arif who is working as a Manager of Standard Chartered Bank and has an extensive experience in software training.
Corporate industries like Banking, Telecom, NGO, Research and others requires data analysis and reporting activities at most of the departments. There is a big gap between what students learn on Excel at universities and what they need to know to become successful employee at corporate organizations. To bridge this gap and to prepare students for corporate office works, most widely practiced Excel topics will be covered in the course syllabus with practical exercises. Participants will do the live exercises along with the trainer to learn faster and effectively. Learning the required Excel functionalities in course will ensure participants high performance in their career and academics.
This program was appreciated by the department in a great way!
